Temporary power is a logistics problem as well as an electrical problem. Define the site duration, move frequency, road or lifting constraints, cable distance, fuel access, weather exposure and who will operate and maintain the set.
The load profile matters too. Share the largest motor, starting method, simultaneous loads, acceptable voltage dip, daily operating hours and whether the set will run in standby, prime or continuous service.
A strong temporary-power quotation should make the package boundary visible: generator set, trailer or skid, distribution, cables, ATS, fuel tank, acoustic enclosure, delivery, commissioning, refuelling and service response. Ask for the items that are included and excluded before comparing price.
Send the site location, power requirement, application, target delivery date and expected duration. If the kVA is not known, send the load list or a short description of the equipment to be powered.
